In our Studio classes we use all the different types of equipment.
There are only up to 4 people in this class, and the class is designed for your body and goals. We use the following equipment
Reformer
Different types of exercises are done on the reformer to promote length, strength, flexibility, posture and balance.
The Carriage is either being pushed, pulled or held steady during an exercise while you are either lying down, sitting or standing on the reformer.
Wunda Chair
The Wunda chair is a versatile piece of equipment and is great for adding variety and challenging exercises. The chair is great to include for our pregnant clients, as there is are a whole range of exercises that can be done whilst sitting or standing.
Rehabilitation, balance and coordination exercises are also performed on this apparatus and are suitable for all levels from rehabilitation through to elite athletes
Trapeze Table
Also known as Cadillac, supports fitness and rehabilitation for all ages and abilities. A variety of exercises are possible from gentle, spring assisted sit-ups to advanced acrobatics. Exercises can be done in a sitting, lying down, hanging or standing positions.
Spine Corrector
Is an essential Pilates tool that can be used to perform exercises for lengthening and strengthening the core, shoulders, back and legs while correcting or restoring the spines natural curvature. An ideal piece of equipment for aligning and mobilizing the spine whilst improving the posture. Its slanted platform with dense foam padding and handgrips provide comfort for clients while accommodating diverse exerciser needs.
Ladder Barrel
Used for core strength and flexibility exercises. It challenges the postural muscles with emphasis on strengthening and improving the range of movement while developing spinal flexibility and lengthening the muscles. Exercises Performed on the barrel, challenge the abdominal and waist muscles whilst improving flexibility. It combines ladder rungs with a barrel surface for stretching, strengthening and flexibility exercises.
